Now, I realize that I am BIASED towards bunnies since we have two as pets...

But isn't this little one just the cutest thing?!!

Would anyone want to crochet one (or a few) along with me? Perhaps for a child/grandchild/niece/nephew or to donate to a children's charity?

He's just too cute not to give him a go - it'd be lovely to get friends to join in...

I've got a couple projects ahead of my bunnies, too (a barter, and some birthday presents). They may get finished at 4 am Easter morning, but somehow they'll get done! LOL

I have not started yet, got a bit side-tracked with a dish-cloth.

Oh, and sorry about the duplicate posting, I have been having some issues with that, have told Gabe, but wanted to leave them there for him to check out.

Yes, Angie you did a brilliant job explaining things.

If you don't have a stitch marker, here are 2 suggestions: A safety pin or a slightly bent paper clip. Both hook on really well, and are very easy to move to the next row.

I didn't have any til about a year ago, when my sister bought some for me as a stocking stuffer.

thanks Christina....that might work better since the little pin kept getting in the way! I did 9 rows last night but still not sure my counting is accurate but I'll keep going and see if it ends up looking like a rabbit! It's starting to curl inward and I am hoping it is supposed to do that to form the shape of the bunnies head?

If you don't have any stitch markers you can also use a small piece of yarn in a different color and tie it on.

If you are knitting or crocheting in circles, ie; you don't go back and forth, it gets hard to see where the last row began and when the next one begins so you have to "mark" the first stitch (or whatever the pattern specifies)
The markers usually are little charms or beads or such that hook onto the stitch. I have lots but actually prefer to use little gold safety pins.

(ANN-did I explain this okay? )

Thanks Angie! I have only done afghans and square items before so this is new for me. I did look on Lionbrand website and saw them but knew even if I ordered them it would delay the Easter presents! Thanks for the tip on the little gold safety pins! That's perfect! Now I can get started!

Okay...here's where I show my little knowledge of crochet. What are stitch markers and is there something else I could use since I don't have any?

Gosh Sandra, you are busy! So your house smells of delicious pork loin, home made sour-dough brad and.....paint.
I think this little rabbit would be cute in any color and he doesn't look like he would use up a lot of yarn either.
I'm still digging around in my stash to see what's what.

Okay....I just came up from the basement digging in my yarn containers! Whew! I brought up some white, cream and a beigy mottled color. Haven't decided which to use. I have some dark brown but it is committed to another project at the moment. I have 2 little grandsons that are 1 1/2 and 7 months so it would be perfect for them although I did order a pattern of a bunny that I was going to make for them out of an old quilt. Like I need another project but it is so cute and it said it is EASY! I need EASY....I'm not that good a crocheter OR I just can't follow instructions? I haven't figured out which it is! LOL!
Today I am painting the bathroom, waiting for my sourdough bread to rise again and then I have a pork loin to cook but I love it! You gals are always inspiring me and it is SO FUN!!!! I probably won't start until tonight when I am too tired to do anything else but it's fun to know others are sharing in the same project and to be able to chit-chat about it and all sorts of other goings on! Thanks Ann and I love your sign on your posts!

And what if you knitted with two strands, one being eye-lash yarn?

Ok, so I'm a little slow this morning... Just a thought - what if you made the bunny out of super fluffy yarn - then he could be an angora!

Vanna's Choice is just regular old 4-ply, worsted weight acrylic that happens to have her lovely face on the label. Feel free to use what's in your stash - I know I am. Mine are going to be white and black, like our actual bunnies. So, I guess they will be white chocolate and super dark chocolate! And you are right about the calories - BONUS!

Hey Ann, we had so much fun on the last project, count me in! Not sure when I will get to Joann's for the yarn, I don't have any Vanna's Choice, wonder if I could use something else in my stash.
Oh, and this is a chocolate bunny with no calories too!
