I have a shirt that I would like to use to turn into a clothes pin bag. Because the material is so thin, it needs a nice sturdy lining. I want it to work so that I can use the neck hole as the opening to get the clothespins in and out. Would I need to cut the whole shirt apart, or is there a way to get the lining in there without cutting at the shoulder seams. It probably hard to picture with just what I've said. I know how it should look when it is done, but this has me a little stumped as to the process to get there.:)
Any help would be appreciated!

Would it matter that the shirt is only a tshirt? I think I get the idea of what you all are saying. So when I get to the neck part, I just fold under a little bit and hem stitch it to the collar part?Sounds like it should be easy enough..I hope!! lol

Could you sew into the seams you'll be making at the bottom and sides and then just hand stitch it using a "blind hem stitch" (?) to the inside of the collar of the shirt all the way around? Does that make sense? Then you wouldn't have to tear away the shoulder seams.

just cut a rectangle shape out of 2 pieces of lining, put it in your finished shirt bag, then turn edges under and slip stitch around neck area...does that make sense?
