Posted - Feb 19 2009 : 11:24:26 PM Well, today I just learned how to use double pointed knitting needles...It is AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVE it! I went to the yarn shop in town and picked up a light dusty pink thin mohair yarn and some dp needles. I am working on knitting a flower. When it is finished, it will probably have a vintage button in the center. I am making it to be a hair clip. I love floral hair clips. I intend to wear it often if it turns out nicely. I should make them in many colors!! Anyways, I was just excited and wanted to share it with all of you. Have a nice night!!

Posted - Feb 20 2009 : 06:07:22 AM Congrats on learning double pointed needles! They're all I use to knit socks with. My favorite double points are the Harmony needles from Knit Picks.
You'll have to post pictures of your flowers when you complete them :)
