I read somewhere on here about cutting some shoe inserts out of felted sweaters. I did some this morning for my hubby's boots. But they are all wadded up at the toes now. What's the best way to get them to stay put???? Should I glue them in or double-sided tape? He has really bad feet and can't feel them due to neuropathy and can't have his feet sliding around in his shoes. I just thought these might help cushion his feet a little more.

Thanks. Kris

Thank you, Grace. I will have to go get some tomorrow. He really liked how they "felt", haha!

Hi Kristin

When MaryJane published my felt insoles they did not give all the information. The way I keep mine in place is to get yourself rug tape - the kind you use on floor rugs - works great!!! I can get months of wear out of my insoles without them moving - when you wish to change them out you just cut yourself another stripe..... Pennies per use and really works. I did try velcore and they made a bump that started to really hurt my foot - you know I am such a delicate thing.

Good luck and if you have other questions I will check back in.
