Posted - Feb 05 2009 : 5:45:27 PM Diana, your projects turned out really cute! I've been working on an afghan I'm crocheting and I need to get back to spinning some wool I have. It's a long process because I only have a drop spindle. Someday when I've got some extra money (ha!) I'll buy a spinning wheel. I'm also making some doll size aprons. Always something to do...

Posted - Feb 04 2009 : 9:04:27 PM I'm quilting, of course. Have to make an orange quilt for a graduation present...wow...orange. Anyway I got all of the fabrics today and made two of the blocks. It's going to be very pretty. I'm so surprised. Also knitting socks. I decided to try to learn how to do two socks on two circular needles at the same time. So far so good. we'll see how it goes.

Posted - Feb 03 2009 : 8:03:19 PM Hello neighbor Diana, well I can see why you don't go out much in the winter. My but you've been busy. The items you made are beautiful. I've been working on a large quilt(my first) and it isn't very good at all, looks like an 8 y/o made it. One without experience. I've also made a tote for my mother. I've also made a pillow for the pastor's wife to match the one I made them before they moved. Otherwise, I've just been patching jeans, for me, DD, and DH. I don't know how to post a picture or I would show you.
Thanks Diana for showing what you've been up to! Cindy

Posted - Feb 03 2009 : 1:39:13 PM Diana, those table runners are great! And the dresses are too sweet. I'm slaving away over my mini aprons and I need to start working on my farm themed quilt block swap. Carrie posted some really cute ones on the block swap , very inspiring. I love looking at all the things everyone makes. And I have a baby quilt I am working on for December's farmgirl, just a little behind.

Posted - Feb 03 2009 : 10:58:51 AM I'm just learning to quilt with the BOM group on here, and I love it! I never heard of a rotary cutter until this venture and I am wicked with it! What a great tool! |

Posted - Feb 03 2009 : 10:53:28 AM I'm learning to use my rotary cutter so that I can make my first quilt. I got a bunch of purple(my favorite color) fabric on clearance, so I'm finally going to take the plunge and try my hand at a basic patchwork quilt.
