Posted - Jan 26 2009 : 09:08:36 AM felting yarn? I picked up some really cool wool yarn (a bargain for $1 a skein) that is called felting yarn, it's in tones of light to dark and it goes from really fat to really thin. I've never done anything with this stuff and there's no cuff around them with a suggested project... so, I'm at a loss.... any ideas ladies? |

I have a lot of this stuff, so more ideas would be appreciated!

Posted - Jan 26 2009 : 09:31:20 AM beth, you can make anything you really want to out of it, just keep in mind that it is untreated and will felt if not washed properly (cold water, by hand, no wringing). if you want to play around with felting, why not try knitting or crocheting some large squares to felt for pot holders?
