Grace, I will come to your house and learn how to be a farmhand! I may not want to come back! I have to say that they are not too bad with helping it's just that Olivia always wants a hug when I am trying to type on the computer and they think it's a blast to lay on the fabric when I am trying to re-fold a bolt of it! I must say they are all a delight though!

Ohhh! Makes me want to squeeze them--in a good way! Little ones like that are oh-so-curious, and I love how they can make games out of anything and everything. Too cute!!!

Naughty kitties!!! I have one, that is getting into her share of trouble!! She tore apart one of my needle felted sheep. I still have not gotten surgery done on it!! Put it away, so no more damage could be done! Have fun

Grace the cat's are fantastic - just wait till you have a goat baby helping in the house. Monica as soon as the kids are old enough you can send them to my farm and I will teach them how to be a farmhand...
They will love to come back to you and help around the house.

Give those sweet fur balls a hug from me - do you save their hair? There goes the spinner in me - can not help myself..

They're adorable! And what good helpers they are; rearranging your quilt for you. I think maybe they need a ball of yarn to keep them busy.
katmom Posted - Jan 22 2009 : 08:39:57 AM
Oh yea, they are sooo helpful!!! even when I am typing....it is incredably tuff to type one handed whilst peddling a fur baby w/the other hand, actually more like restraining the furbaby who really wants to walk all over the keyboard! lol!
But, as big a pain as they can be, I wouldn't have it any other way.
The blocks are from an Autumn block swap(last year) and I am just now getting around to putting (trying) it together....
Oh & Karen, I too have "war stories" about trying to paint w/furbabies around....but their white fur does make for a nice canvase! lol!
Oh Tina, isn't catmint a Hoot???? my little Peekaboo goes nutzoid over it....

Aw, come on Grace...they thought you were sharing the fun. :) Dash (dog) always wants to get all the stuff out of the waste basket, old spools, scraps of fabric, etc. And sitting in the chair, of course! What a pretty quilt, who is it for? I have been over at my daughter's new place, painting these last few days. I have been taking Dash and he is doing incredibly well. I am surprised that he does not try to get into the paint or brush against the fresh paint. Doing this for years as a profession....I can tell you pet stories! :) lol

LOL They are just helping! They don't think you have them lined up quite right. I have a couple of helpers, too. Boots especially likes helping me fill the catnip balls and catnip mice. I loose more of those darn things that way. And Misti Luna thinks she has to supervise every stitch that I make with the sewing machine... from my lap!

Cats are great helpers.
