Posted - Jan 13 2009 : 11:22:38 AM I just put up some pictures on my blog of an apron that I just finished for Kelley aka Farmmommy. I think it came out pretty cute. Take a look and tell me what you think. Go ahead be brutal.
Just kidding, you gals are always so sweet!!
I added the trim just for Kelley as I read somewhere she liked that sort of thing.
Kelley, I e-mailed you as I need your address!!!!

Posted - Jan 14 2009 : 07:54:20 AM Yes, I keep checking the feeder. I know I will get some squirrels too.I don't mind them though,as they are fun to watch scurrying about!
Thanks to all who saw my apron. I make aprons all the time for people but have never been able to post pics before. The encouragement is wonderful.
I hope Kelly likes the apron when she gets it. I fell in love with the blue homespun.I didn't think the pictures came out very well though as everything looks rather dark. The blue homespun is almost turquoise in color. Oh, well I am still learning!!!

Posted - Jan 14 2009 : 07:43:23 AM Pam, That apron is fabulous. The birds will come, it just takes them a while, but once they discover it you'll be getting visitors and possibly squirrels, all the time. I love watching the birdies.

Posted - Jan 14 2009 : 04:38:54 AM LOL, my bird watching skills are very limited. I would love the recipe for the suet. I usually just coat pine cones with peanut butter and roll in seeds.I happened to see this, and thought it was hilarious that it said "high energy". Plus the gourmet was added. Thanks to everyone on my apron. I am making a couple of night-gowns for my mom and auntie, simple pattern, but the material is really beautiful. Will try and post pics of that today.

Posted - Jan 13 2009 : 12:22:43 PM Oh MY!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is SOOOOOO CUTE!!!! I just love it Pam!!!! You did such a great job!!! Did I say how excited I was??? LOL.....I just couldn't wait for it to come in the mail, I just had to look!! And I'm glad I did!! And it's so special, since it will be the first apron that has ever been given to me!! Dutchy said she is going to send something for me to put on it from the netherlands, and i won some glass beads from Dawn, and since I do bead work, I'm going to do something cute with those, and maybe I can get ruth to throw in a little something for it when we swap our books and mags, and I also won a pkg of goodies from Prince Edward Island, so maybe there will be something in there for it, too!!! It is gonna be the cutest FarmGirl "scrapbook" apron in the world!!!! I'm a little excited, can you tell?....lol Thank you, thank you thank you Pam!!!!.....Kelley |
