I finished this little dolly this evening. With everyone talking about homemade dolls, I wanted to try my hand at it. Of course, she is very simple and plain, but I was pleased with how she turned out. I had intended to keep her for myself, but Tori oohed and aahed over her when I got done that I just had to let her have her. She named her Daisy and Tori fell asleep with her tonight. :)

That is a lovely doll. So glad to hear she found loving arms to hold her.

angie,
I have another pattern that is almost exactly this one that I will check to see if it is copyrighted so that you can have a copy. :) Were you wanting the dress pattern or the doll pattern? :)

Cute Jess. I never tried making a doll, I'm afraid what she might look like.

My sister made the dolly pattern and I sewed them up and made the little dresses. Mom had pictures of Leslie's Amish dolls somewhere, on her etsy I know. They are so sweet! :)
I wish I could be part of the dolly swap, but unfortunately, I have a little postage problem. Maybe next time around though .:)
Thanks Linda!! (I miss chatting with you on AIM btw :O) )
