Posted - Dec 26 2005 : 6:48:14 PM I make matching pajamas for the kids each year (the one thing they open on Christmas eve) and this is this year's pajamas. We had a wonderful "brown" Christmas. It is raining right now..and isn't quite cold enough for snow so I guess it will stay brown awhile. I sure hope you all had as nice a Christmas as we did! ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y45/AuntJenny/HPIM1317.jpg)

Brought back memories of my Mom giving us new jammies every Christmas Eve..she was a working single mom way back when and didn't have time to make them..but always managed to get us some..and that is the special part of the memory that I remember and yours will, too. Posted - Dec 27 2005 : 04:59:19 AM What a sweet pic, and what wonderful memories you're making for your children! I still have memories of things my mother made for me. Alas, it seems the needlework skills skipped a generation in my family; but fortunately my daughter has it.
Thanks for sharing that pic; it's precious! |

Posted - Dec 26 2005 : 9:07:56 PM Every year I have made pjs for grandson Joey (now 14) and a nightgown for granddaughter Trillian (now 9). Last year, my daughter-in-law, Tina, said PLEASE make Joey another pair of Harry Potter pjs since he's worn his so much, they are sticking together with tape. Naturally, I could't find any Potter fabric since it was all a year old. Finally, DH found some on Ebay and we paid a fortune for it but Joey had his beloved Harry potter pjs. So this year, when we went to son Patrick's for Christmas dinner, the kids said, "I know what's in here - pjs and a nightgown you made, right Nonnie?" I said, "maybe, maybe not." Boy, were they surprised. I made them other things instead. heh heh heh. Keep 'em guessing, I always say. Jenny, I love your pjs and the kids look fabulous!
Happy Wishes! |

Posted - Dec 26 2005 : 7:24:01 PM My mom always made matching jammies for me and my sisters. My favorites were some red, long, flannel jammies, that when we spun around and squatted quickly, we looked like we were part red marshmallow. Your kids are adorable! Simply, Julia V.
