I found an interesting website that shows how to make your gloves into hand warmers that last approximately 20 minutes. They would make great stocking stuffers for next Christmas!

Once I get my gloves done I plan on posting a picture for you ladies to see. Would anyone else like to post a picture of their gloves or mittens? I would love to see them.

Thanks Julie,
Living in Idaho I have several people who are not getting these for Christmas!

This topic makes me want to go out and get gloves for Christmas for everyone. Can't wait to get started. I love the lace and button idea, my little girls will love them.

Thanks Sabrena! I have even thought of fancying them up with lace and/or buttons for my friends as little gifts.

I am so making these for my soccer & football sisters! My oldest son plays soccer year-round and it gets pretty cold during those games!! Now to find a portable microwave! Thank you for sharing - what a great idea!

I plan on making several of these as stocking-stuffers. It has been predicted that in my neck of the woods it is going to be a very frigid winter. :(

I bet you could do the same thing with mittens. Just make the felt inside bigger.

That is pretty cool. Now something for the fingers because they get REALLY frozen. Mittens are good. MB
