Hi Girls,

Do any of you make braided rugs? I have in the past and now am going to give it a try again. I am one to recycle as much as possible, so for my braided rugs I have been collecting wool jackets. I get them for a dollar each at our local thrift store. I think I will get quite a bit of wool from each jacket for a dollar. I am going to start tonight and maybe I can post some pictures showing my progress. I don't know how to post pictures here yet and if I can't figure it out then I will post them at my blog for all to see. I would love to see pictures if any of you here have made braided rugs.

Ok, I see that I was not signed in as Sarahann,in the last reply, but homesteaderbelle was signed in. We use the same computer and we will need to pay attention to who is signed on from now on. Sorry about the mix up.

I have tons of stuff on my blog about braided rugs even a set of tutorial on how to make them including t starts changing colors tapered ends and butted rounds your welcome to check them out the largest rug I have made is in my sewing room it is about 12 feet by 20 feet and weights between 4 and 5 hundred pounds
