Posted - Jan 04 2009 : 07:50:31 AM I made a granny years ago, I gave it to a friend. Great way to use up bits of yarn. I made real colorful ones then but a black border around each one, really made the colors stand out. Maybe I should have kept it!

Posted - Jan 01 2009 : 7:43:45 PM Oh, aren't granny squares fun! Yours are very pretty, nice colors. I once made one and kept going and going until one square was the size of a doll blanket for my granddaughter. No tiresome joining!! Keep us informed of your progress. So far, so good! |

Posted - Jan 01 2009 : 3:36:06 PM Great start! very nice colors. The nice thing about doing the granny squares is you can do as many or as few as you feel like and what a great way to use up all the little bits of leftover yarn. I think I might follow suit! ![](icons/icon_smile_wink.gif)
