Posted - Jan 01 2009 : 03:12:25 AM Look what I finished, lol. A memory pillow I started a few days ago, and finished it today. It turned out pretty good, if I say so myself :)
The picture is my Omi (grandmommy) when she was engaged to my Opi (granddaddy), she was 25 here. People say I look a lot like her, yippee!! We kids loved them very very much, they were really the greatest grandparents any kid could have (yes we are biased, lol) And this is a way to keep her even closer to me than she is already :)
I had been wanting to make one of those for a long time, but never found the right material, etc. SO happy it turned out great :) (for more pictures, go visit my blog)

Posted - Jan 01 2009 : 12:01:41 PM I used the t-shirt transfer stuff that you iron on a t-shirt? I know you in the USA have those special cotton transfer thingies too. I bought some last year but can't find it. It is not here, so had to do with the t-shirt material. It works too, but would prefer the 100% cotton transfer, but alas :( (* note to self: GO LOOK everywhere in the house, lol)
