According to my calendar, we've been at this project since October 20th-ish. Re-check the guidelines (they've been updated) and let's see who gets a new chip!

Thanks Judith! So if you get a gift card to shop at a fabric store, can I go? LOL I do need a color I don't have anyway. I can't believe how much of my stash I've been using since I saw this forum! It'll be a shock when I actually have to go out and buy more just because I don't have any!

Nope--it sure isn't easy, but it gets easier as time goes on. I'm having far fewer fabric cravings than three months ago. I'm doing blocks for a 30s exchange and using up my feed and flour sack stash. I absolutely positively had to go to JoAnn's because my rotary cutter was so dull it was taking at least three passes to cut anything. Fortunately the blades were on sale (and I would have used a coupon if they weren't). The sewing room still isn't done but I did find my box of threads....

No fabric purchased since Oct. 18!

You farm gals are awesome- please send me some of the will power- because I have NONE!!
Too many temptations when I go shopping, and I have reasons, excuses you name it to keep adding to the stash closet! I can always squeeze another craft item in! You never know when you will need it :o)

Nothing like an emergency appendectomy to keep me out of the craft and fabric stores! LOL

GREAT JOB! Just remember if you need thread to finish something and you have to buy it, you are still within the guidelines.

Email me your addy please. I am working on them over the weekend, and will be sending them out hopefully early next week.

Way to go ladies!

No fabric purchased since Oct. 18! I used up a small portion of my stash making gift bags for homemade soaps and am now starting on some quilt blocks for an exchange. The sewing room *still* isn't done so it's difficult getting to things I need to sew with, like thread.....

Thanks Ann - Hubby is even getting into this stashaholic thing. He's keeping close tabs on me...lol He's also using up things in his garage too. I'm so proud of him.

I have not bought anything to "stash" for 60 days or more. It's been a long, hard road, but I am tough and I am hanging in there!! GO ME!!!

I did not, Ann. Posted about it on the 30-day shout out before I saw this post but bought 2 books, just impulse fun buys, tried to use my stash for a project from one of them, didn't work so went and bought some yarn and needles. Oh forevermore!
So, back to the beginning for me. I have my 30-day chip right next to my sewing machine to remind me but think I should have put it in my knitting basket instead!
