Could anyone give me suggestions as what to use to stabilize my material? I want to sew a denim pocket onto a regular cotton apron, but I dont want it to weigh it down so the that it pulls at the apron and makes it fit funky. Any ideas would be great! It is a bib pocket.
THanks

I have both hobby lobby and michaels within 10 minutes of my house, and a Joanns and Hancock fabrics about 15 minutes away. Some days it's just torture I tell ya!

Thank God the HOBBY LOBBY is so far away that it is not convient to go to or my husband would be going daily. He is an artist and loves HOBBY LOBBY and Micheals. I do some bead work and other odds and ends.

Diana, having a Hobby Lobby SO close by would be a curse for my wallet, lol. NOT for me but for my wallet ;)
I have been to one on my first and only visit to the USA last year, and it was
H U G E !!And SO many things to choose from and to buy and to covet, lol.
I came with one suitcase and a backpack, and I left with 2 FILLED to the brim suitcases, my backpack was super heavy and 3 or 4 overnight bags. !! Luckily the airport employee was a friendly (and cute lol) guy. He let me repack a lot of my stuff in the bring-in-the-cabin bags I had, so no extra pay. But boy were they heavy LOL!!

>> is wonder - under still being manufactured? <<

That's something I used to use when sewing little pockets onto my son's shirts -- it is very good at stabilizing fabric pieces when sewing 2 different kinds of fabrics together. That make sense??

Check out www.hancockfabrics.com -- they sell different stabilizer products that work with all kinds of projects. And what they have on line is usually available in their stores.

Hope this helps!!
