I just did these in the last hour, both of them, lol
Need more oomph and fun stuff, like on the ballet shoes I want to add a little fabric rose or two. ( both need ironing too, lol)
And on the other one need the buttons and lace etc.
But at least you have an idea!

I love them both, lol
I might put these in my shop as well, not sure.
Will see how many I can make IF there is a "want" for ofcourse!!

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

Yes, I used a pattern. But they are very simple, it is the embellishments that I want to put on that makes them more unique.

Marian,
They are great! Very classy!
I love the ballet slipper. Your fireplace is going to look very fancy.
Did you use a pattern or just make it up as you sewed? They truly are great!

Very cute! I used to have a stocking very similar to the pointe shoe (only in light green, and the leg went a bit higher) that I got at the Cincinnati Ballet's gift shop as a little girl. Gosh, that's been 27 years ago! Nice to see someone making something similar for all the little ballerina's out there!

Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.

Marian these are just lovely! I am doing some sewing again today as well. My daughters quilt just needs the binding put on so I hope to have it done in the next few hours. My sewing room is soooo cold though. Keep sharing your beautiful projects! I love seeing what everyone is up to.
