[red][size=5][font=Century Gothic][b][center]*** WE ARE CLOSED ***

While cleaning the bottomless pit, I mean sewing/craft room, I came across a few patterns for tea cozies. I've not seen a swap for those listed yet here on the boards, so I thought a SWAP for them would be nice. It would help keep the tea pot warm on these super-cold winter days, and bring a little cheer to the drear.

Partners are posted! Tea cozy MUST be handmade, and can be any medium you choose (knit, crochet, quilt, sew, felted, etc.), and shipped no later than Valentine's Day. Please email your partner to get her mailing address.

Here's the list partners:

I live in between Brookfield and Kirksville, about 24-26 miles from each. We are over 3 hrs from each other....small world.
Debby, I will get back with you...just so many things going on right now at work and home. Looks like we are going to get some snow tonight...saw robins, red wing blackbirds, so Spring is getting closer.

Ooooh lots of great sheep! I have a Schacht Matchless double treadle. I'll keep an eye on your blog. I would love to get a fleece. I also have a small spinning fiber co. I love to blend wool with my Pygora goat and Angora rabbit fibers.
I love making such great connections on here:)

Debby, I have corriedale in white and brown, polypays, oxfords, shetlands of all colors and textures, and a few shetland crosses, over 30 fleeces. I purchased a new border Liester ram that has a finer wool than most borders...next Spring I will have Borderdales, borderpays, borderlands, and borderfords. I think I have a few of my sheep on my blog site.
Deb, what kind of wheel do you have? I have to sew an Indian ribbon shirt for my grandson, Mr.Eagle Scout, Little Keeper of the Past... He will be doing some Indian dancing on Saturday...yep and I am just getting to making his shirt...a long night! (I work better under pressure...I think)

Whew, I was beginning to think it had got lost. I am so glad you liked it...I am just a primitive chick myself... Hope your tea cozy keeps your tea warm for many enjoyable cups of tea. Cathy, you must get your spinning wheel going again...this farm girl in Missouri is going to be over my head in wool in just a month or so...
Monica, did you read that? Have you finished the last fleece yet???? Smiles to all!

sarita,
just got the cozy and the picture on your website doesn't do it justice! all the detailed handwork is amazing! and i love the fact that you made it with your own wool. thank you also for the roving, it inspires me to repair my spinning wheel and get spinning!
everyone please look at the picture of my cozy from sarita on her blog:
www.coffmanspinningfarm.blogspot.com
i am not savvy enough to know how to post pics, so sarita was kind enough to take one of it before she mailed it to me!
this was my first swap and it was such a fun thing to get to know sarita and share our lives. it is truly a blessing to know that there are so many farmgirls out there with kindred spirits!
i appreciate all of you!
