Okay
I know that paper craft like photo craft things has a scalooped edge on it.( I already tried it ; it dosen't work on material)
I need to know
Do they make a rotatry cutter with a scallooped edge
Or maybe some scissors for cutting material
I need this tool to be able to cut material
I have a project in mind
However. It calls for scalooped edges.
So
Help !!!
Thanks Pinkroses

Thanks Kathy,
I think the rotatry cutter at the Nancy's notions is what I need.
Thanks Audrey
Funny thing is ; I got a Nancy's Notions catalog in the mail yesterday and never saw the cutter's!!
Hooray,
I am going to practice cutting the edges.
Hopefully what I have in mind will work
You know how you have these new patterns going on in your mind ; and you know it will be pretty and perfect; except you can't find the right tools.
Very frustrating.
Thanks again
I am going to order that I think
Now
Where did I put my rotarY cutter?? Lol Sheila

Sheila, I may not be following your question here so forgive me if I miss the mark.

If you are looking to make a scalloped edge for a fabric project, Quilt in a Day has a special scalloped ruler at www.quiltinaday.com/shoponline/rulers.asp look for the "scallops, vines and waves templates" toward the bottom of the page. To use these kind of rulers the smaller rotary cutters work best (like the 18 mm size). The smaller size makes them go around the curves better. I would think you should be able to use a paper craft scalloped ruler and a small rotary to cut with, just don't slice off your fingers! And if you need to bind your project, make sure you cut your binding on the bias or buy "bias" binding.

After re-reading your post I think you actually might be asking (forgive me, I need to go to bed but I'm catching up on posts here, so my brain is scrambled) is, yes, they make a rotary cutting blade with a scalloped edge. I bought mine at JoAnns several years ago and I think they still make them. Look at the one here www.nancysnotions.com/category/id/100162.do

Hope this info helps!
Audrey

There is a rotary cutter with a scalloped edge but I haven't seen one in a while. It is a pretty small scallop however.
