have pics on my blog of it. it is a "goodhousekeeper". I cant find manual or threading diagram on it. A friend got it for 5 bucks and is her first machine. I have to clean it up for her yet.

it is super heavy. Easily 40 lbs on it. :P

I bet it is very heavy! My mom used to have one of these, at least they look alike, lol.
That one was SO heavy my brothers had to lift them on the table! If mom was finished sewing she and I both had to lift the heavy thing OFF the table and into the BIG suitcase that came with it. Guess it was made of cast iron or something like that !
Now I have an oldie but it is light weight PTL!! lol

I believe that the Good Housekeeper is just model name for a Japanese made sewing machine. I would try going to www.sewusa.com and carefully compare your machine to one of the japanese ones they have shown there.
