Hi all I first wrote this message is the barter stuff as computers and I don't always mix too well ;-)
I am looking first of all for instructions on how to knit a plain old stocking cap, once were called beanies. Just the very plain thing with the use of 2 needles to begin with.
Thank you to anyone who can help.

Hi Rae
I have a wonderfully simple but GREAT cap. It comes from a book called "Simple Knitting and Crochetin Patterns Illustrated, for Watching TV or While Talking on the Telephone" by Virginia McGlynn. I would be glad to send you a copy of the cap pattern if you just email your address or if you wish the whole book full of projects I have one left in my shop. It sells for $7.00.

Hope that helps.
