Posted - Nov 01 2008 : 09:50:23 AM This is the month when we gather together to celebrate with thankfulness all that we have in our lives...
So, the November Stashaholics Challenge: same rules as before - only materials you have on hand - no new purchases to fill in any gaps. Item(s)MUST have a theme of thankfulness/gratitude. Deadline: November 26th (the day before Thanksgiving). Be sure to email me when you post your photo of your completed project, and I will send you a participation ribbon.
I must say I'm very thankful for all of my farmgirl sisters. We are a true community, and I feel very blessed to have all of you in my life!

Posted - Nov 19 2008 : 6:12:38 PM Thought everyone would like to see these. He's a true stashaholic prize - I purchased nothing new to make him. I was going to post the ribbons last time, but forgot (oh, and I remembered on my way home from the PO).

This handsome fellow is made from cardstock, rickrack and glue dots. I used two punches (circle and heart) and also a cookie cutter (tail feathers). He received the soapmommy's kiddos' seal of approval!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Posted - Nov 19 2008 : 09:08:41 AM Hey Lisa,
My oldest daughter in a band and she loves the skeleton look. She also loves pink and black. My second daughter is a mommy, but she lost 2 children to miscarriage this past year and I was hoping to find something with little footprints or something. She also loves purple.
I'll keep checking out your blog for your latest creations (as always) and who knows? Maybe I'll find just what I'm looking for.
Ann,
I have a few of Lisa's pieces to and everyone loves them!

Posted - Nov 19 2008 : 06:05:27 AM You all are so sweet :)Just wait till Evan is older and making jewelry :)Pictures never show off the enrgy behind the pieces :( Tammy--my daughter is the same way. I tell her to just watch my blog and when she sees something to let me know. I only see her once a year so I dont know her taste anymore or waht clothes she has. . I always take orders if I have the stones needed. I am low in my stash of actual stone beads right now.I have some turquoise that I will be using up over next week or so. I am getting ready to wire wrap stone pieces I have here in about a week. I have couple 100 stones to wire wrap :) Will keep me from hating winter i hope .

Posted - Nov 19 2008 : 05:49:10 AM Tammy, I can tell you from bartering with Lisa that the stuff she makes is so beautiful and wonderful - even prettier than the pictures! I have a bunch of pieces from her (thanks for taking my stash, Lisa!), and our whole family oooh's and aaaaah's when I open my package (especially future gemologist DS Evan).

Posted - Nov 19 2008 : 05:23:38 AM I would have a blast with ya! For now, I'll have to settle for internet window shopping and wishing...lol Oh, do you take requests for pieces? I have 2 daughters in their 20's and it's so hard to shop for them, but I know what they like. It's just hard finding jewelry to go with the things they like. Does that make any sense?? LOL
