Posted - Oct 16 2008 : 07:31:06 AM This is something I always struggle with and thought I would put it out there as others may be in the same boat. I never know what to put on the inside of the card. I thought we could all share ideas for any occasion.
I found one on Mary Jane's site I thought was a nice start:
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart. ~Helen Keller
What other sayings do you ladies like to put inside your cards?

Posted - Oct 16 2008 : 9:14:24 PM Wow, those are great. Thanks. I've started making a bunch of cards tonight. Going through old magazines and cutting out stuff that catches my eye. I found an old Winnie the Pooh
"When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?" "What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said
--A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh (1926)

Posted - Oct 16 2008 : 7:15:06 PM Hi Laurie!
I do love the Helen Keller quote. Here are a few more...
Friendship:
Without a friend, the world is but a wilderness.
When friends meet, hearts warm. ~John Ray
A friend is the one who comes in when the whole world has gone out.
Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. ~James M. Barrie
Friendship begun in this world can be taken up again in heaven, never to be broken off. ~ St. Francis de Sales
A friend is a present which you give yourself. ~Robert L. Stevenson
A friend is what the heart needs all the time. ~ Henery Van Dyke
If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden. ~Claudia Grandi
Rejoice and bloom where you are planted my friend.
There's no special joy quite like friendship and no special friend quite like you!
I've had many friends with whom I've shared my time, but very few with whom I've shared my heart...
*I have a friend who just found out she has breast cancer and I am making a card for her with this in it: A friend will strengthen you with her prayers, bless you with her love, and encourage you with her hope.
Sympathy:
May you find the strenth to face tomorrow in the love that surrounds you today...
Wedding & Birthday:
May all your dreams come true!
Christmas:
Family and friends are the true gifts of Christmas!
Hope your Christmas is heavenly!
Hugs, Maryjane Lee

Let's see, I send a lot of e-cards, and the ones listed over at Action Cat, http://www.actioncat.com/pod.shtml , under "Select a quote, or a link to some fun" are the ones I use most commonly.
