I was watching a sewing show on RFD TV on how to make the Drunkard's Path quilt (such a cool design!). Anyway she was showing how you can keep sewing and just sew block after block, and then when you are done you can cut the blocks apart if needed by snipping the little 1/4 inch thread between each block, or if you have it lined up, you can actually just turn your sewing and have a 4 square block made lickety split! Wow!

I know a lot of you might already know this trick, but it was pretty revolutionary for me! I tested it out on my mini apron project and it made it go so much faster! I can't wait to do a quilt this winter!
