For all the farm girls in and around the Chicago area (or if you're visiting our area):
Our church will be hosting a UFO (UnFinished Object) night for all crafters on October 10th from 5 pm until we all go home, usually around 10 or 10:30pm. Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Oswego, IL. If you can join us, please bring a snack to share. Also any and all crafts are welcome. If you can carry it into the church and down to the basement, you're welcome to work on it. Last time, we had 2 scrapbookers, 2 cross-stitchers, a latch-hooker and a crocheter. I've handsewn buttons on my husband's 1830's costume, laid out a quilt (and was smart enough that day to label it for sewing later), made melt and pour soap, crocheted, knitted and made a few homemade cards.
So grab a project that needs finishing and a friend or two and join us! Hope to see you there!

Well, Ann...I'm afraid I won't be able to make it but had to post and tell you what a great idea that is!!!! The fact that you posted it will give others the idea and it is a great one! Have a great time and maybe I will gather mine and a little snack and work on some UFO's tomorrow night knowing there are other's in Oswego doing the same!
