Would anyone be interested in doing a Valentine SWAP after the first of the year? I know that seems so far away, but hey girls we are all crafters here, and we know that Christmas is practically knocking on the door! Actually, I'd love to be more involved in the SWAPS myself, but just can't participate in any more until then. This would give everyone else some time to think about it as well.

After discussing this with Junebug, who has run the SWAP quite successfully the last 3 years, here are some basic guidelines to consider when signing up. This is a Valentine card SWAP. The valentines MUST be homemade from whatever you have on hand - scrapbook stuff, stitched (knit, crochet, embroider), quilted postcard type, whatever - as long as they are homemade. The size you choose will only be limited to a) your imagination and most importantly, b) postal regulations (which you need to check very carefully!). You will make 1 card for everyone who signs up on the list, so be ready (as of early this morning - 12/11 - we already had 20, and a few more have signed up since. Any future questions should be directed to Junebug.

Here is the list so far:
Tapestry
Jennifer Juniper
Beverley
Cheryl

City_Chick

emsmommy
LivingWell4You
wild daisy
deere dawn
stitchinchickin
Muslinbunnies

Sent mine out last Saturday. The recipe is one that my husband loves and I enjoy too. Just thought I would enclose it so you all can have a special dinner on Valentines too. Happy Valentines to all. Thanks for the cards as they make it seem longer then just one day.

Hello everyone!

First, I would like to say that the Valentines that I have received are wonderful! Thank you so much everyone.

Next, I am sorry that I have not sent mine out yet. I have been very sick with some sort of viral bronchitis. I will gt them in the mail as soon as I can, but they will most likely be late. Sorry about that!

I've received 8 so far - from Jennifer, Beverley, Cheryl, Christina, Lori, Kathleen, Melanie and Cheryl. Each one brought a huge smile to my face. They are all so pretty.

Mine went in the mail today. I missed the Saturday deadline due to snow/sleet here and hubby and I getting the flu. Hopefully they'll reach you all by the end of the week.

God bless -
