Last week I got about 20 or so vintage sewing patterns for 10 cents a piece. I remembered her saying that she had several more boxes so when we saw their garage sale sign still up we swung by. Last week I got mostly women's clothing patterns (from the 50's) and some children's clothing patterns. This week I found a ton of childrens/baby patterns, womens patterns (some from the 50's, some from the 80's and 90's) and several apron patterns (1 is my absolute favorite and so happy I found it- though I have to lose some weight to fit it- but will make one for Eimilee and my mil for her bday) and about 20 embroidery patterns.. 130 patterns in all for $13.. And I also got some fabric at another sale that had tonnnnnsssss of fabric but I only had a small amount of money so I just picked a few favorite- the 2 vintage pieces and a couple of sturdier upholstery fabrics..
yay! what a day!

I am so excited about the embroidery patterns too.. I love to embroider.. the vintage childrens clothing will be so fun for future children or grandkids.. a few of the vintage clothing I love and either want to learn how to resize a pattern or need to wait until I lose more weight to fit into.
I am going to have fun this winter!

Cooool Debra. Enjoy! I am just starting to embroider again so I hope you are enjoying the embroidery patterns. I'm using the tracables from MJ's Ideabook right now just to get myself started again. I need to find a wax pencil to trace onto paper though...not easy to find believe it or not!
