E-quilter has sooooooo much fabric and such cute prints.I just love to shop there, so I thought I'd share like most of us need encouragement to spend a mint at a fabric store!

reprodepot and Cia's Palette are both good too - I tend to like some of the funkier fabrics and you definitely find those there!!

When last I went, the regular prices were no more than my LQS. With the percent off, I think it is a wonderful deal. I wish it was closer so that I could take better advantage of the prices. I do some on-line purchases from them and they are easy to deal with. They do such a volume on those 40% off days that I'm sure they make plenty of money. Wonder what the mark-up is?

There is also a web site called Connecting Threads in Vancouover, WA and their fabric (quilting quality) is $5.96/yard. Gorgeous stuff.

This is SO funny.... I was thinking recently that I wanted to post a question to everyone asking about online fabric stores. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this thread!! Perfect!! Thanks for thinking of the rest of us :) Sorry I don't have anything to contribute on this topic, but I am certainly learning a lot.

I'm lucky enough to live about 30 minutes from Fabric Depot. They do a 35% off and also a 40% off weekend once a month. However, on some of their fabrics they are quite a bit higher so even with the 40% it brings it down to what you would normally pay somewhere else. They also have a wholesale department and if you buy in bulk you can get 40% off all the time.

I love Reproductionfabrics.com - I haven't visited there in a while. Need to go look.

Reproductionfabrics.com is my favorite fabric site. They have an amazing variety of reproduction fabrics, great books, and the nicest display method I've encountered on line. It is my favorite place to visit, lots of information about fabrics, dyes, etc.

StarMeadow--go to their web site, www.fabricdepot.com and they have a calendar each month that tells when their reduced days are. They do give good service. I believe that it is the same time each month, but not for sure.

Thanks for these links. I'll share my favorite, too: www.sewmamasew.com. Lots of fun fabrics, patterns, and they have a great forum with tutorials.

Is that 35% off at the same time each month or does it run all the time?

Check out www.voguefabricsstore.com. I have not bought anything from them yet, but they have a ton of fabric!

Annika,
My favorites for online fabric shopping are: Hancocks of Paducah, WebFabrics (really good service and fast), and Fabric Depot of Portland, Oregon. Occasionally I use BigHorn Quilts in Greybull, Wy. Fabric Depot has a 35% off time every month and that's the time to buy because prices are really good.

e-Quilter also donates a certain percentage to charity too.

The really good thing about these stores is that you can shop in your jammies.
