Hi,
I was wondering if this has ever been done here? i am willing to over see it and send a new block pattern to everyone every month or every 2 weeks or whatever we decide. What do you think? or a mystery quilt where I would send part of the pattern every month and it only has 6 parts so you would have your top done it 6 months. the block of the month would probably take a year of longer to get all the squares depending if we did it every month or 2 weeks. Any one interested in this?? I figure if we do have interest email and say what your choice is and how long you would like it to take and so forth. All I would need is everyone email that wants to do this and I could send the patterns off forum and then we could send pics to the forum when we get them done. Let me know what anyone thinks?? beverley

It should be 12 and a half inches unfinished. It is only 12 inches after it is sewn into the quilt. So if it is a bit bigger than 12 1/2 inches unfinished then you can square it up to 12 and a half inches.

HELP the ribbon block if made at 2 7/8 will not measure to a 12 inch block. Or my sewing is very bad. Are theses 1/4 inch seams through out. I have made this block 2 times and neither is 12 inches when done. more like 13 I think that the original block should measure
2 1/2 in the triangles blocks. The direction say a2 1/2 inch center block. HELP please

Don't forget the cutting is only for 1 or 2 blocks I forget which but you need to make 7 of these blocks so cute enough for that. and no I don't have all 7 done yet just made the one so far to let you see what it should look like!!! hehehehehehe

Hi Everyone,

I've posted my blocks on my blog. www.jeanpatch.wordpress.com
It is under block of the month. Just scroll down the page. I'm still working on the first two. I did the ribbon one wrong. The log cabin is still in the making. Thanks Bev for the great blocks.

Hugs,
Marjean

Ok, I had my spam settings on "high" - if your emails went in there, they were deleted immediately, so can I please ask you to resend. I'm so sorry for the extra trouble.

Ann,
did you check your bulk or spam mail. sometimes my mail goes there instead of your inbox. I have sent them twice now. check there and if they are not there email again and I will check your email addy against the one I have just in case I have it wrong. But i copied and pasted it so I don't know how it could be but I will double check but first check your other mail places.

I think it looks nice when it is done, BUT, i am not a very precise seamstress so somethign like the log cabin is more forgiving for me. :) Plus all those little triangles just drove me nuts for some reason! LOL. It was fun to do though - like I said, I'm in this for the experience.

LOL I have favorites too. What did you not like about it? Just wondering? I had to take apart a row when I did it cause I put it in upside down and it did not look right at all!!!! hehehehehe So, see all you newbies to sewing we that have been sewing for a while still have to unsew!!!! Beverley
