I am not sure who decides these things however
Joann's Fabrics sent me an email saying it is National Sewing Month in Sept.

What will you do to honor this month?

I think I will try to stitch on somthing everyday.

Well to honor September as sewing month, I may try to start a quilt. My hubby will probably laugh, but he's laughed before and was very surprised at the end. LOL

ooooo. A Halloween apron. hmmmm.
I'm in the process of making about 15 baby bucket bags that NEED to get done. We are going to ask for a donation on those to help support our Relay for Life walk in early October. After that, I start holiday gifts. BUT...
hmmmmm. A Halloween apron. hmmmmmm.

I think I will start and finish my sisters quilt I am making her and her husband for Christmas. I need to have it to my quilter by October 15th if I want it done in a timely fashion. After that she gets swamped with last minute holiday quilts.

I also have some small hand sewing projects for the halloween that I want to start on. Plus, a halloween apron.

So Happy Sewing to us all!

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start; anyone can start from now
and make a brand new end.

Hopefully finish my quilt. I procrastinate on the big jobs, but I really should get it done soon. It's a winter quilt and it's so cute, just unfinished :(
