Here's a cute way to recycle if you drink from cans with the tabs that you can remove. Take a look...

Hey Bonnie,

Yes, the vintage buttons would look great in the center…oh and by the way you sound like you could be a "button floozie"...LOL Come checkout this blog...anyone that is nuts over buttons is welcome..we just completed a Vintage Button Card swap..the deadline just passed but Abbie will be doing lots more stuff to be involved in. You can post your buttons pictures and stuff on the blog also.

Here is the topic for the Quilt n Stitch that our Autumn (DeepsouthMamma) started. http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13536There are lots of pictures through the topic. You could post in it to see about getting some others involved and plus there are seperate quilt block swaps going on..The ladies will probably jump in to let you know about them..if not, just go into the topics and ask to join.

Drop by my Queenofdreams blog for a visit anytime..I'm in a crochet spell right now!

Hugs…

Stephanie,

I'm new to the farm girls and I/ve been going through different posts to see what's out there. I love this flower idea. I quilt/sew and am making totes for gifts-these flowers would look great on the bags I'm making. I've got tons and tons of old/vintage buttons that would make great flower centers-just another layer of interest!

Oh heck, at one time made a pull tab curtain! That was back when the entire tab pulled off and you could loop them together.
Too funny Stephanie...now I'm looking at these cute tab flowers and thinking "Flower Power". Yep, I'm old!
