Posted - Jul 19 2008 : 5:06:21 PM I just wanted to share the 3 projects that completed today.
A box bag that I was going to use for one of my current sock knitting projects.
A second box bag because I thought the first one was to short to accommodate my needles. I'll use the first one for my new sewing kit.
A needle case for my new sewing kit.
I lost my mojo about 3/4ths of the way thru another project, an apron, but hopefully I'll find it again tomorrow.

Posted - Jul 20 2008 : 06:30:58 AM I love those box bags. Where did you get teh pattern from? The needle case seems so much handier that just throwing a few on a piece of felt into a bag (and getting stabbed when I go to reach for them. I really need to make some projects for myself to make my area more beautiful and enjoyable. What a great job you did. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Posted - Jul 20 2008 : 03:16:07 AM Great job! I like the needle case. What a cool idea. I don't think I've ever seen one of those before. When I'm sewing, I put my needles in my lapel. They end up all over the place. I'll have to try something like that! I also like your sock colors! Very colorful! I have second sock syndrome right now on a blue pair. I bought some dark red/white to make my son a pair of boot socks waiting in the wings. Maybe by "boot season" those will be ready!

Posted - Jul 19 2008 : 8:18:00 PM Very nice, I especially love the flower encrusted etui, I always want to make one of those. The box bags are also wonderful/I think you have accomplished a lot for one day. I have only created more havoc, though I did purchase two curtains at my local thrift store to make into shopping bags...
