Bonnie such sweet words you will make my head swell or is it because of the heat I feel so light headed. Last night because of that very same heat you could find my in the shop barefooted on the cement floor spinning away. Had the music cranked up, feet going a mile a minute and saying many thanks for the GREAT life I have made. I have some really to drool for yarns coming up and the dye pots have been going thru the night so watch out for so great fiber too.

Bonnie I want to play with your cute kitten - I am amazed to see it move but I still do not understand the computer. Hugs to my Colorado Farmgal.

Hi Tina
I sent you my answers and I hope they might be note worthy. Those who know me know this is my life, my passion, my purpose......

I will gladly send photo's if any of my rambling works for you.
Congrat's Monica on your first yarn - I always tell my student to call your first yarn "Designer Yarn" that way you can charge more and in a year or two I will be teaching you how to make that lumpy bumpy yarn again because now all you can spin is even, thin yarn. I hope you keep going with the process - it will open parts of your creative spirit you never knew was there.

Congratulations Monica!! Be sure to save that first yarn. It will be fun for you to look at it in a couple of years!! I still have a little of the first yarn I spun 17 years ago!!

Tina, sounds like fun,but I don't think I would qualify because I just spun my first yarn today on my drop spindle. It is so wonderful to do though and now I am completely addicted. I do knit and crochet but I don't have my yarn ready yet. I may e-mail you anyway just in case.

I sent my answers to you Tina. I would love to be part of your article. FYI my blog is called get a clew (note the spelling) because according to the OED a clew is a ball of yarn or string.

oops it sent before I could type the questions:

Here they are:

When did you begin spinning your own yarns?

What type of wool/fibers do you use?

What type of spinning equipment?

Do you raise your own wool bearing animals?

What types of projects do you create with the finished spun wools?

What is currently on your knitting/crochet needles?

From where do you find your inspiration?

What is your most favorite thing about spinning?

Have you ever spun gold from straw?

What would you say to Rumplestiltskin if you ever met him?

---------------
yes..a few funny questions at the end..but hey..we inquiring minds..wanna know.:0)
