I inherited a whole box of groovy sewing things and I've found an item that I'm not certain how to use. It's a Dritz vue-thru dressmakers gauge. I can find them online but can't find information (even in my sewing books!) on how to go about using it.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks a bunch!
Carla

Here's a site that has the Dritz Vue Thru Dressmakes Guage on it. For some reason photobucket won't let me upload my photo which is much better.

The bottom is for scallops. Got that. There are a few things that I don't know what they're for.

Like above the 1" scallop, there is a tab type thing and just past the 2" a marker for a button hole maybe? On the far left side above the 1/2 scallop is an indentation for marking something? Not a lot of info out there on these.

*I truly love going through this ls sewing stuff....it's like a treasure box!*
