Does anyone have an easy Rag Rug Pattern? What kind of material is the best?

Deb- the pattern isn't in the magazine it's in her second book= "MaryJane's Stitching Room"

Alee, sorry to say i dont. I was going to wait until the next issue so I could get the issue that has the article that has how you can make a greenhouse for 100.00...BUt I guess I could go pick this issue so I can get the pattern for the rug. Thanks

Do you have MaryJane's book- "MaryJane's Stitching Room"? On page 56-58 there are instructions and a pattern for a rag rug. :D

I believe Aunt Annies sells them. I found a free knit one after googling. I would give that a try. Good Luck!

Deborah,
I like cotton.. I strip them into about 2 1/2 inch strips... my hook is a size 9 I believe- I dont have any patterns as I just tear strips and put them in baskets that are color coded and grab the colors I want....
