Posted - Sep 24 2005 : 10:39:11 PM I was talking to my neighbor today and she mentioned that she has 4 sheep. Two olders ones and two about a year old. She mentioned that she was having the younger ones sheared. I asked her what she does with the wool. She said that she throws it away!!! She asked if I wanted it and I said I will take it knowing that some of my Farmgirl sisters might want it.
Joan (my neighbor) said that the older sheep don't have very good wool but the little ones have very nice white wool. She told me what kind of sheep they are but I can't remember.
Soooooo -- if anyone wants some free wool please let me know. I'm not sure when I will have it but it should be soon.

Posted - Sep 25 2005 : 03:19:24 AM Kay, my daughter would love to have it. She's 12. She hasn't worked with raw fleece yet. We were going to go to the Common Ground Fair this morning where she'd buy one but we can't go. I have too much homework and too many farm chores to be able to leave for the day. I will gladly pay shipping and send you goodies!
