I have had a knitting project for the last couple of months and now it is REALLY starting to irritate me. I look at my shelf across the room and see the rolled up lump that is my 3/4 finished scarf and it's skein of yarn. With warm weather supposedly on it's way (we had snow in the air again this morning and I have plumes of frost for breath outside) it isn't really "scarf" weather. But I just can't stand the thought of packing up and moving a half finished scarf!

So I am sitting here listening to an audio book and knitting away like a maniac. I am determined to have it finished TONIGHT! I only need another 6-12 inches. I suppose I could bind it off where it is at (First I have to learn how!) but I like longer scarves...so wish me luck!

I finsihed! The scarf is about (without me getting my measuring tape out) 8 inches wide and 4 foot long! Using Lion Brand Homespun in a charcoal grey and TINY needles for the thread- Gauge 8! I am so proud of my scarf but I think I am going to add some embellishment to the ends- maybe some lace or tatting or something- something to make it extra farmgirlish!
