Posted - Apr 13 2008 : 1:33:40 PM hello farmgirls! Spring has sprung and I love being in my craft room with lots of light! I have been jumping back and forth with some sewing and some scrappin. I also repaired a candle holder, finished a floorcloth, finished a tooth pillow and a little stuffed bear.
What in the world are you working on?

Posted - Apr 14 2008 : 03:58:16 AM I was doing some crochet, but I'm kind of in between crochet projects at the moment. I'm looking at my garden, just looking at it for now... :) A little scared to go out there and start, because it needs some serious cleaning. I'm in the Northeast, so it's just getting to be gardening season, just.
I loved reading the above to see all the different types of projects, it can be any of many different things that makes us happy.

Posted - Apr 13 2008 : 5:25:09 PM I am making a pillow for my daughter's birthday. If you have MaryJane's Stitching Room book you may remember the basket pillow made of yoyos. My hands are not co-operating at the moment so I am making a smaller version, but I think it is going to look swell anyway. I'm also trying to get started on the spring mini=aprons. Sewing is very therapeutic! Karin

I love being outside so I am glad my craft room is in the garage cuz I open the big door and I feel like I am working outside. Posted - Apr 13 2008 : 3:13:18 PM Darning and mending as part of my "spring cleaning"...finding all of Jus's shirts that are missing buttons, sewing them back on (he never tells me!), and doing the same for my stuff...pearl buttons on spring cardigans, etc...taking a break on indoor sewing and knitting projects for outside :)

Posted - Apr 13 2008 : 3:10:02 PM Yesterday was so warm. I was inspired to make a new skirt!! Oh, I love it, big flower print with a small print on the bottom ruffle. Yup, spring requires at least one new skirt.
