How fun these look...great for a "take along" sewing project...more like a needle book would be than a pin cushion..no loose pins to fall out. I want to get some made up for little gifts too...what a fun idea this is!

I'll give this one a try. I have some fabric sample books and this project sounds great for them.
Looking forward to the lessons..

jenny .. i'll pull all that together and start posting ideas and instructions after tomorrow. (actually .. if you take TWO pins and put them opposite each other (points touching) .. make your circle a little larger than that .. so they are not crossing over too much. (its a mystery to me how they don't get all jammed up in that little circle anyway). the bottom of a drinking glass is probably a good pattern. i'll measure the one's i've cut out and let ya'll know. BY THE WAY .. those Post Office PRIORITY MAIL boxes are a perfect size .. not too flimsy .. not too hard to cut out with 'paper' scissors!

more coming! xo (i'll draw some diagrams .. take pics of them .. and post them in a coupla' days!) xo

here t'is gurlfrenz!!! this is what the little colonial pyn wheels look like. (it is two fabric covered 'cardboard' circles (that have been yo'd and sew'd together .. and you tuck your 'pins' between the circles. these are all 'vintage fabric' .. as are the 'kits' i have up for grabs.

jus send me TWO dollars .. make sure your NAME and ADDRESS are inside the envelope .. and i'll send the circles and fabric to you.

i WILL be posting all 'instructions' here .. and answering any questions you might have as we 'sew along'.

i only have a dozen .. but can make up more kits! xo
