Posted - Mar 25 2008 : 11:57:44 AM Here is the starting point for learning:
http://www.copyright.gov/
Here is link to register Visual Arts which covers many many works including sewing patterns.
http://www.copyright.gov/register/visual.html
Be a beta tester of their new web-based registration system and only pay $35 per registration instead of $45 if mailed in..this will be great since everything will process so much quicker..
They have really improved this area and made is much easier to understand.
Wishing you prosperity and success! Stephanie |

Posted - Mar 25 2008 : 04:16:58 AM Don't know much about this, but it would seem to me that you probably would want to copyright the patterns. Protect your intellectual property. Don't know how you would go about it, I'm sure if you google you would get some leads. |
