I put a mini apron on my dish detergent bottle. When the first one needed washed in laundry I inspected the long line of Valentine minis and put a different one on! The first was from Jess-smoothiejuice, one she sent me blue with foam snowflake. Now "she/it" is wearing the Valentine apron made by Naomi! This bottle is kinda big so largest aprons fit.
Maybe I'll get a smaller bottle somewhere and try to fit the smaller ones on it.
I love the wardrobe now for my dish detergent...!

My dish soap bottle is sporting one of Aunt Jenny's aprons; I just love it. She probably needed an extra layer (the dress) over the winter, but as it's getting warm now I suppose she'll be okay through the summer as is. What a kick; except that now I won't be able to look at my unclothed broom the same way ever again.

I found a crocheted 'bottle apron' last year @ the thrift shop, paid all of 99cents, brought it home washed it & dress out my dish soap bottle,,,'cept I don't have dish soap in my bottle, I filled it w/decorative stones to give it weight & it sits on my kitchen window. I just love these kind of finds....I guess it is true what they say, "1 (wo)mans trash is another (wo)mans treasure!".
Linda, cute Idea for displaying the mini's and rotating them for the seasons.

I'd never heard of this before, dressing the dishsoap, the broom, there are probably other likely kitchen candidates.
It's a great idea.

My soap bottle wants a wardrobe, too! Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for it? In the meantime, I'm going to visit Aunt Jenny's shop. My soap bottle is very impatient!

Jessie, will you direct me to the prairie dress pattern. She just whispered that she wants one of those too! LOL

Linda, the pattern for the broom apron is in MaryJane's Ideabook. You can just use on the broom you use for everyday. Makes sweeping a much more pleasant task when your broom wears a matching apron!

Such fun!

Blessings, Lea

Hi Linda,
if your sink bottle needs a little dress to go under that apron, let me know and i can send you the website for an awesome pattern. My handsoap bottle dons a little mutlicolored prairie dress right now. ;)

The MJ book must be her first book? I have the stitching one but that's the only book of hers that I have.
A broom apron sounds great! Is it to make the broom we use pretty, or is it for a decoration broom? I have an old fashined "witch type" broom on the wall. It could be decorated!

I love those..my dish soap is never without her apron. I even sell them (very simple ones) on my etsy shop. I think it just is so much cuter than a plain old dishsoap bottle. I plan to make an apron for my broom soon..like the one in the MJ big book.
