My 17 year old son knits. And he does beautiful work!!! He makes hats for preemies and toys! Knitting is very relaxing to him. Proud of all those make knitters!

My Thomas wants to learn to knit...6'3" tall and bodybuilding has been his hobby for 20+ years..I'm sure he'll turn some heads when they see him knitting..LOL

It's really become quite popular for men to knit and sew...they finally realized the great relaxation that it provides.

This is great. I was just at my sister's last weekend and she was embarrassed that her 7 year old son was sewing now, and he told her that she wouldn't need to worry if she didn't know how to sew, he would show her!! I love it!

I'd rather live my life with a "full plate" than an empty one. Life is not a rehearsal... eat up!

My uncle has knitted since he was a boy. Grandma made all the kids learn and he was the only one who kept up with it. This is no sissy man I'm talking about either. He spent years working as the head driller on an oil rig, shoes his own horses, and is absoulutly massive. Right now, I have a male friend very interested in learning.

This came at a good time...two days ago I was at the bookstore and saw a fella there knitting in front of the fireplace. Kinda did a double-take there.

When they say "Grab your sticks" it reminded me of my son - when he sees me knitting, he always calls my knitting needles "rods".
