Ok, I would like to step up to the plate, so to speak & host a "Felt" Pin Swap....
The sign up ends Feb. 29th....(or 15 sign up-which ever comes first)
Limit of 15 farmgals
This SWAP if full and closed....let the stitching begin!
Each lady will make 8 felt pins. (see my blog for ideas)
Mail the pins to me by March 30 (w/a SASE~ self addressed & stamped return envelope) Should be able to use a 6x9mailer.
I will return to each lady a mix of 7 felt pins....
The 8th pin from each of you will be used to send to MaryJane, and 2 special farmgirls (i will explain in a email after you have signed up-I will also send you my mailing address at that time.
Email me for more info on how to make these pins or if you need help..
You can use craft felt or wool felt.
You can choose the theme for your pin.
Oh & Jess reminded me that Michaels Craft store has pin backs on sale for $1.99
I suspect it will not cost more then $2 poatage each way.
So any one else want to join in?

That's funny, Jessica! My son loved that one best too. He eventually gave it back to me in trade for going bye-bye, but he talked to her and played with her hair for the longest time.

Karin~electridunce is the designer/stitcher extrodinair of the button heart feltie.
I love the idea of stashing bit's of felt/beads/buttons/fiberfil and thread in a ziploc baggie to tote around to those long waiting/boring appointmants....twixt & tween that & yoyo kits, we will never have idol hands.

What a good idea Kathie. I went to a get together at a friends house this weekend and her cushion on her rocker in the living room was out of tht fabric, too.
I should have known that monkey was Cheryl-cw246..you do great work Cheryl.
Who made the blue heart with all the asst. buttons.?

Mine are in too!!
I think they came in Saturday's Mail!!
I've fashioned a Long strip of Fabric from that upholstry fabric that i bought last year..
( Like our bags we all had at Karin's in Georgia Jess..)
& doubled it over.. that way as I gain more Pins I can still add to the strip.
& I've stapled it at the top to a bookcase in the sewing room.. So I can See all of them!
They are all SOOOoooo sweet! Thanks So much Girls! I love them!!

why very own Cheryl~cw246 made the cute monkey...ist thing that came to mind was Carol Duval on HGTV, she has a 'sock monkey' for a mascot.

I got mine days ago...love them! I'm gonna wear them all the time...maybe one or two at a time, tho. lol
I was thrilled to see I got Jess's fried egg. When I saw the pic I was hoping to get it...so cute!!

I finally made it to the P.O. today ( I fell off a kitchen chair while trying to hammer a nail in the wall a few days ago, I'm getting too old for such silliness) and there was my package of pins. They are so nice, what a lovely assortment, and thank you Grace for yours and the bag of lavender. My favorite scent....So when does the next one start? Karin

As soon as I opened my mailbox, I knew I had a package from Grace! I got my felt pins today! They are all so wonderful and creative. Every farmgirl has a different style and imaginative ideas! I love them all!
Carrie- my 3 year old son fell in love with the little girl pin you made. He screamed when I wouldn't let him have it! He is talking to it right now and being very gentle with it. I may have a hard time getting it back!

Hey Cheryl,
glad your's arrived....the best part is they can be worn on a jacket, scarf, on a hat or a handbag and even attached to an apron!. After all, aprons need a little "bling" too!
I made Lavender scones and molasses ginger bread cookies.
I love Tea parties (and Martini parties). Today we used my collection of cups/sauces & dessert plates that I brought back from Germany in the late 1960's.
Hey Jess,,,,I want your biscotti receipe.....and for you to come over to my house & make/bake 'em! lol!
