I think I lost count....which is a good thing i think! I keep my bags in the car too, because in the hustle and bustle of getting me and abby and all her " accessories" to the car I forget things. I thought about using mine at the fabric store too...actually , if those fabric store owners were smart, they'd make fabric bags to sell to people to use at thier store. They always buy such expensive bags to bag fabrics in so I figure it would save them alot of money.
Ugh, am i making sense? I just got back from a weekend road trip and I am POOPED! I'm so sick of eating fast food and I'm ready to get back to normal life....needless to say, I AM not a good traveler..

hugs! bekah

I started using my bags at the grocery store....and now I use them everywhere....even the fabric store. Clerks still give me a funny look, but once in a while they say..."good for you!". Keep the bags in your car and you are never without one when you need it! Bekah...I can just see you doin your little happy dance....so, what is the count up to?

How many plastic bags have YOU refused lately?

That's my favorite, too....Initially, when I told the bag-boys that I wanted paper, they would roll their eyes (????) and now when I bring my own they act like they don't know how to put anything in them. Teenagers....our future!!!!

The weird part is when I go to the store the cashier always looks at me like I'm from mars when i say I'd like to put my stuff in my own bag..lol I guess they aren;t used to it or maybe it is more of a hassle for them...i dont know. Yesterday, I ran a few errands and I brought my "beehive tote" with me and Each time I walked out of a store withOUT a plastic bag I wanted to jump up and down and laugh! LOL I was trying to keep track of how many bags I saved by using my totebut i lost count....: ) YAY for me and my very first "GREEN" thought! ! ! !

thanks again Bev!
