Posted - Jan 24 2008 : 6:20:40 PM my first pair of baby booties. Knitting those could get addictive! I used the pattern posted here a while back for "comfy slippers" and they turned out great. This is the first time I've used such small needles. I have a photo of the booties on my blog.

The booties are adorable. I have some friends who are expecting and making some as gifts will be perfect.

Posted - Jan 25 2008 : 06:20:56 AM I like working with the double pointed needles now and then I make socks for me. Being Diabetic type2 ; a lot of the socks I buy are really tight around my ankels and that is not good You are right you become addicted when you like what you are doing Good, for you. pinkroses

Posted - Jan 25 2008 : 04:43:03 AM leezard, i was thinking about doing just that yesterday. i was going to make a few pairs up and post them on the board at work, but if your interested i'll make yours first. what are you interested in bartering? each pair takes about 1 1/2 hours to make, giving them about a $15 value (i would include shipping in that). currently, i have baby yarn in soft green and white...let me know if either of those work and when you want them.

Posted - Jan 24 2008 : 6:41:14 PM How adorable! Would you be interested in making a few more pair to sell or barter? I'm not that advanced in my crocheting and I've got at least half a dozen baby showers between February and July, I know some of the moms would really enjoy some neat handmade items.
