So, I went to my mailbox this weekend...and what did I find but a little package from Lisa that had the most adorable and warm sleeves..fingerless gloves...type accessories. They are so cute, a wine color, with very colorful eyelash yarn embellishing the hand and arm area. These are so awesome. Perfect for sewing while wearing, keeps the hands warm while putting waterers back on cages in freezing temps, your hands stay warm while your fingers can still work. She is so creative, and can crochet so well. I really love these that I got from her, and I urge all of you to become very good friends with Lisa, she is so sweet and has some great stuff she is able to make. I certainly LOVE my new fingerless glove sleeves she sent me. THANK YOU SO MUCH LISA!!!!! |

Hi jess!! Just saw this :) I am glad you are loving your gloves !! I wear mine all the time :) Alee has a pair in the mail too . YUp--adopted that old sewing machine --had to clean it all up--was rusted and tension messed up. I have to find some attachments for it since it only has a zipper foot on it . It is a "kenmore 8 stitch " It sewa a nice straight stitch. I CANT RESCUE NO MORE !!!!!! I want my dance room to stay empty. COurse if i ran across another one down the road i could put the cd player on top of it

She also got a vintage sewing machine sewing today, that her neighbor was ready to discard.
Adopting homeless sewing machines~now that takes a special person. ROFL!!
