Posted - Jan 21 2008 : 6:06:46 PM I know a person who cuts them into strips and knits them into new re-usable grocery bags! I think that's pretty neat!

Posted - Jan 21 2008 : 6:03:51 PM Frannie, I got one--purse made out of blue Walmart bags! Found it at a thrift store. It is really pretty. I kept looking at it and them it dawned on me that it was made from the bags from Walmart. I also have a set of placemats that were woven on a loom made with rust/orange plastic bags. They are really very pretty.JoAnn |

Posted - Jan 21 2008 : 4:12:07 PM I never heard or thought about plastic bags as pillow stuffing. Good idea if it worked. I saw about a year or more ago online where this lady made a bikin out of the bags. I think she knitted or crocheted it.? Funny what people will make, ain't it.? Pinkroses
