I thought the fusing bag site looked cool too. I marked it on my faves. May give it a whirl soon.

I've heard you can use them to make rag rugs. I just use them as packaging material. :)

I know a person who cuts them into strips and knits them into new re-usable grocery bags! I think that's pretty neat!

Frannie, I got one--purse made out of blue Walmart bags! Found it at a thrift store. It is really pretty. I kept looking at it and them it dawned on me that it was made from the bags from Walmart. I also have a set of placemats that were woven on a loom made with rust/orange plastic bags. They are really very pretty.JoAnn

i have the mos' marvelous vintage area RUG that was crocheted out of BREAD BAGS .. back in the 1930's or 1940's .. and someone taught how to crochet WALMART blue bags into purses (i didn't take the class .. so don't know how to do it) .. bet there are some 'on-line' instructions somewhere .. try googling it. xo

I never heard or thought about plastic bags as pillow stuffing.
Good idea if it worked.
I saw about a year or more ago online where this lady made a bikin out of the bags.
I think she knitted or crocheted it.?
Funny what people will make, ain't it.? Pinkroses
