Hey Fran - it's you're daily reminder! I had company yesterday, so I had to show off and show them how I could spin - so I got mine in while they were here. (I'm sure they were duly impressed! - come to Sherri's house and get a spinning demo.)

Nope - no break. I signed up for a show with Heather, whom I met on this site, for April, then I have a spring fair the very next weekend, plus, trying to get going on "Shop the Frontier".
Here's the link - check it out http://www.shopthefrontier.com/VFstore/
I haven't heard the results of my jurying yet for this website, but it's a very nice site and I really hope I make the cut! I've been making a lot of crib quilts the past couple of weeks as my stock was pretty low.

we are about 70-75 miles north east of dallas. wayyyyyyyy out in the boonies, the closest "town" is ravenna, the largest close town is bonham. we are about 6 miles north of bonham and i guess we are literally in the red river valley.
it is cold and rainy today and i am working on felted knit bunnies for easter.
hubby is home today for martin luther king day and he is crackin pecans and i think hinting for a pecan pie this afternoon.
the "littles" olivia and deven will be here after school and stay for supper.
sherri, are you still making your wonderful childrens clothes or are you taking a break?

i wish i could, if you lived here i'd call you and say, come over girl we're making tamales, and bring your spinnin wheel with ya.
they turned out pretty good, but tomorrow we are going to go ahead and freeze the balance of them. we have tamaled ourselves out, but they were good and they filled the house with the greatest aroma all day.
well i am outa here for the evening. dh is off work tomorrow and we dont have the kiddos here so i'm gonna rest up for a day with dh.

well, i owe ya 20 minutes. yesterday we had the kiddos and i dont really get out the wheel when their here or we would all be spinnin
instead we opted for making tamales! it was really a 2 day venture but we ended yesterday and made about 3 1/2 dozen.

this morning we had pancakes with olivia and pawpaw in the kitchen.
so i will try tomorrow to make up for lost time by putting in 3 20 minute sessions.
i'll keep ya posted with my progress, and in the meantime, pass a tamale!

love

Hmmm - no response. You're going to have to do 40 minutes today! (I didn't spin yesterday either - ran around with dh to spend his gift cards. He had 6 different gift cards from his birthday and christmas to spend. What a day - Sportsmans Warehouse, Cabelas, Barnes and Noble (2), Red Lobster (I benefitted from that one!) and Starbucks. I will get back to it today though, I promise!
