Maybe we should start a traveling apron...a plain one to start, that we could embelish...with autographs using fabric paint pens..or stitchery ..or sew on those hokey souvenier state patches..or patches of vintage fabric...or...? Then we could send it on to MJ as a token of our appreciation for uniting us on this wonderful web chat room! What do you think Girls?

You need to contact Kate to get on the list. If you click on Members up at the top and then go to the page for K and then click on Kate and then send her an email I bet she can fix you gals up. The apron sure is a fun thing!!

Jenny- Maybe I could take some pictures and have my daughter help me post them. I'm not too sure how to do this, but Ainslie seems to be able to do anything!! The apron is very cute. I love your embroidery of Mona. So sweet. I will finish my part up tomorrow and send it along. It is going to be darling and such a treat for Maryjane.

Can a newbie join in at the end of the line? I'd love to participate, if that's okay.

I got the traveling apron today!! Now to decide what I'm going to do. I will get it done and sent on it's way by the end of the week. I'm so excited!

Good Morning Farmgirls~
I'm happy to announce that the traveling aprons have hit the road. You should receive an e-mail from me before they visit your home. There are two aprons with about 10 names on each list so it should be a little slow moving but they will be fabulous when they are all done thanks to our own Fabulous Farm Femmes, Diane. Thanks again!! I'm very excited to see them travel. Just let me know with a quick e-mail when you receive the aprons so I can track them. Thanks so everyone who signed up!!
Sincerely
Kate

Good Morning Susan~
I have both of the aprons and I have the lists all ready. We are just going to wait until after Christmas to start the traveling. I'm not working the whole month and I'm sure everyone will be very busy with holiday activities. When I get back from Christmas we will start the traveling!! I'm very excited to see what everyone comes up with. Gals can still sign up until the 15th of December. I look forward to starting it too!! Happy Holidays.
Kate

Hello Farmgirls~
I have been sent such a wonderful treat from our sweet creative Diane. The traveling aprons have arrived at the farm. They are so adorable!! She has made two aprons that I will be sending out. She has two adorable journals that go along with the aprons....TOO CUTE
Diane has added her own special touch as well, a patch with a sock monkey!!(Emil loves sock monkeys he made one that he still sleeps with!! Really cute!!) Well we are really excited to get the aprons on their way but I don't want to leave anyone out. If you were on the list from September I have sent you an e-mail asking for your updated address. If you didn't get an e-mail and want to be apart of this wonderful activities please send me an e-mail (kate@maryjanesfarm.org) with your name and address. The sooner the better so we can start the aprons travels.
Thank you so much Diane for all your creative energy and talents. You have thought about every little detail! Thank you so much
Happy Holidays to All

Hi again farmgirls!! Julie Bell and I had a great time at the Farm Chicks show yesterday!! We met Clare ~ there were farmgirl hugs all around!! She is one of the nicest farmgirls (she grew up on a farm) you could ever hope to meet!! We had oodles of fun sharing stories over lunch and looking for treasures!
Diane had to cancell her trip at the last minute ~ life just continues to happen in spite of farmgirl plans! She will be mailing the traveling apron to the farm soon, then Kate will get it started on it's travels. Thanks again Diane!! We'll meet you one of these days I'm sure!
sunnily yours,

Hi farmgirls!! Thank you all so very much for your patience!! Kate, as you know, will be taking care of the mailing lists. She will reply to your sign-up e-mail right away. Please include your name, physical address, e-mail address and phone number.
If you have already signed up on a list, you don't need to sign-up again. If you have signed up twice, that's not a problem, she'll be double checking.
If you want to know what mailing lists you have already signed up for please send an e-mail to kate@maryjanesfarm.org This way the mailing lists are secure and your privacy is protected.
Kate will be going to New York City on Thursday with MaryJane and Megan. If you don't hear from Kate before that, you will hear from her after she returns October 4th.
Thanks for asking!!
sunnily yours,
