Posted - Dec 30 2007 : 2:48:59 PM Oh my goodness, I have not seen Chicken scratch for 25 years.....that was when I made chicken scratch squares (star shaped) for a quilt for my oldest (who was a baby then!) Glad to see it has not died out!

Posted - Dec 29 2007 : 11:20:15 AM Joy, I just found a wonderful page with a heart pattern for chicken scratch ... and it had the step by step instructions for a beginner like me. Maybe you would like to see it just for the pattern, however. It is perfect for Valentine's Day! Here is the link:

Have fun!
Goodness, I just reread the post and realize you were looking for a prim snowman. Sorry about that ... guess I need to read to the period. LOL
